1. Confirm the final screen size
Do not mount the screen and then discover the projector requires a cabinet height or wall distance your room cannot provide.
2. Position the projector temporarily
Use the projector manual's placement chart. Create the target image on the wall and verify the top, bottom and side boundaries before fixing the frame.
3. Check wall flatness and frame clearance
Make sure the mounting surface can support the frame and that there is room around trim, outlets and speakers.
4. Assemble the screen carefully
Follow the manufacturer's material-handling instructions. Avoid creasing or contaminating the optical surface. UST screens depend on the orientation of their structure, so installing material upside down can severely reduce performance.
5. Mount, level, then fine-tune mechanically
Get the projector and screen physically aligned before leaning heavily on digital keystone correction. Mechanical alignment preserves more of the projector's usable image area.
6. Test with real content
Use a grid pattern, subtitles, sports graphics and dark movie scenes to check focus, geometry and visible edge issues.
